I am excited to be partnering with the Hill Country Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to raise funds for the shelter. Together, we’re kicking off the Fun Furry Pet Portraits project.
This project allows artists of all skill levels to donate their talents to draw or paint someone’s pet. The resulting portrait will be given as a gift to donors making a minimum $25 donation to the HCSPCA. The medium used is up to the artists…anything from crayons to charcoal to oil is acceptable!
I’m asking for volunteers to participate in this fun and worthwhile effort to benefit the animals at the HCSPCA. Everyone of any age who likes to draw or paint is welcome to contribute their time and talents. We hope that this project will be a successful, ongoing effort for the HCSPCA and will continue as long as people are willing to volunteer their time and talent to create keepsakes for Hill Country pet owners.
Over ninety percent of funding for the HCSPCA comes from donations. The average cost to support one animal cared for at the shelter in 2020 was $1,130. You can help to raise money for the HCSPCA by volunteering your talent and joining me in this meaningful project.
